Sara's favorite song is an old children's Portuguese "cantiga de roda" (chanting in circles) which is titled "Atirei o Pau no Gato" (I threw the stick on the cat).

This song has a great catchy tune but the lyrics are not very politically correct, so I came up with some fun English words in hopes that Sara will learn to sing the song in Portuguese and also in English. Time will tell. By the way, the lyrics and translation are below the video.

On the youtube video below, you can hear the song and see how Sara enjoys it. She usually applaude and cheer when I play this song on the piano. As far as Sara is concerned, one just can't stop her beat.

A versão em Inglês não é tradução, porém uma versão livre com jogo de rimas de palavras em Inglês. Simplesmente, é impossível traduzir a letra original da música, principalmente porquê não há como perpertuar a mensagem subliminar de desprezo e violência aos pobres gatos.
